O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as posturas adotadas e os riscos de lesões por esforços repetitivos (LER) e doenças osteomusculares relacionadas ao trabalho (DORT) na atividade de roçada com motorroçadora.Para a coleta de dados, foram realizadas filmagens dos trabalhadores na execução da atividade em uma área na qual iria se implantar um plantio de Pinus taeda L. (Pinaceae). Foram observados 16 trabalhadores na execução de sua atividade, sendo filmados individualmente por duas horas seguidas.
Para análise postural foi utilizado o método OWAS (Working Posture Analysis System) por meio do programa WinOwas®, e para a verificação de riscos de LER/DORT foi utilizado um checklist.
Pode-se dizer que nas posturas típicas não foi identificada nenhuma que comprometesse o bem-estar físico do trabalhador. Todas as posturas típicas foram enquadradas na Categoria 1, não necessitando medidas corretivas.
Com a aplicação do checklist, apesar de ser uma avaliação subjetiva, pode-se dizer que a realização da atividade de roçada com motorroçadora foi enquadrada com moderado risco de LER/DORT.
De um modo geral, conclui-se que a atividade de roçada com motorroçadora, considerando os aspectos posturais e de riscos de LER/DORT, não oferecem demasiado risco à integridade física dos trabalhadores estudados.

POSTURAL ANALYSIS AND RSI/MSDs RISK IN OPERATION OF MOWING WITH BRUSHCUTTER
The objective of this study was to analyze the adopted postures and the risk of repetitive strain injuries (RSI) and work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the activity of mowing with brushcutter.
To collect data, workers were filmed performing the activity in an area which would receive a plantation of Pinus taeda L. (Pinaceae). 16 workers were observed in the execution of its activity, being filmed individually for two hours.
For postural analysis we used OWAS method (Working Posture Analysis System) through WinOwas® software, and for the verification of the risk of RSI/MSDs we used a checklist.
It can be said that in the typical postures we did not identified anyone that could compromise the physical welfare of the workers. All typical postures were classified in Category 1 and does not require corrective action.
With the implementation of the checklist, despite being a subjective assessment, it can be said that the activity of mowing with brushcutter was classified with moderate risk of RSI/MSDs.
In general, we concluded that the mowing activity with brushcutter, considering postural aspects and risks of RSI / MSDs, do not offer too much risk to the physical integrity of the workers studied.
